Past And Future.

Goldfinch60

The road I have travelled is so long,

I look back and see the paths I have walked,

And along those paths I see the wonder,

The wonder of the life I have led,

A life so full of highs but very few lows.

The road I am traveling is ahead of me

And from my passed experience I know,

I know that my life will always be full,

Full of the wonder that has been there,

So I go forward knowing that my life will be good.

    Good write Gold.
The Road Less Travelled - the title of a book. That will be the road leading to my place, where I sing. Hmm, why is that road deserted?! lol.

  • Fay Slimm.

Such an inspiring read and one which I can relate to myself - walking along the road with an appreciative heart is what it all about - thank you for sharing Kathleen Ferrier too.

    • Goldfinch60

Thank you Fay, yes that is so true.

Please bottle your optimism, Andy -
You could sell it and make a mint.
Maybe extra cash could come in handy,
But I suspect you are not skint.

It has always been a source of wonderment to me, Andy – your universal and unshakable optimism.

        • Goldfinch60

That optimism is totally free for all to share Dave.
Thank you for your kind words.
