Sun Sighted but Otherwise Unassuming
Who could forget those eyes of his
with more than just their hint of yellow ..
From staring at the sun too long, he said ..
Well maybe, but ..
Surely, he was more than just blind and anyway
I might just add here, for old times sake ..
He was otherwise, an unassuming little fellow ..

I may be unassuming, but I assure you, I still have my baby blue eyes .. and of course, my hammer .. N 🙂

Met but never forgotten I guess is that unassuming small chap - -- within your memory his sun-blighted eyes no doubt take centre stage - - a portrait worthy of sharing which you penned so well dear friend.
thank you kindly Fay .. the chap in question passed away within a few days of our first meeting .. I believe his liver gave up on him, but he persisted in denying he had an alcohol problem to the very end .. x
That kind of denial is often most dangerous - -- yet he is penned into readers minds now as perhaps methinks an example of yielding to over indulgence for much too long.........x
