Hope no one went to that funeral in
Brahn boots. No sense of decorum, some folks.
But you have to hand it to them – they win -
Regular Programmes on TV? - Some hopes.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow. In saying that. If Charlie was to drop down horizontal. Well.
Please go tell him to hang around a bit - I couldn't stand it....
....Or go before his coronation - that would be a saving....😄
Ha - am lightening up as I type and smile at that number Dave - brings back some little-girl happy memories does that - I used to try and imitate his London Bow Bells accent. but never could.
Carn't understand wot your problem wiv that accent woz - s'easy, Fay.
Confession: I saw a large portion of the journey (missed most of the service) had to marvel at the organisation and coordination of the whole pageant. Also revisited some familiar parts of London - and some less familiar. Enjoyed, actually.
We here in the US agree that it is time to get back to normal life. I was very impressed with the pomp and circumstance. I like your poem, too!
How did the US get mixed up in all this - You sure you aren't a member of the Commonwealth? Did you lot not resign or sumthink?🙂
I was a member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. But, have left and now live where the weather and people are much more friendly.

We watched nearly all the ceremonies and was very impressed with the way it was arranged and completed.
i was wearing my blue slippers if that was ok.
Andy
Impressed - impressive it woz.
Blue slippers? Full on unambiguous support (provided they were Royal Blue), then....LOL
I love satire in any works, but poetry seems to lend itself to this. Inadvertently I have been wearing blue tennis shoes, does that count?
It was Stanley called the tune.....Andy, it seems, got away with blue slippers....It's a hard call...
