More than fun in the sun

Poetic Dan

This was more than a holiday of fun in the sun, it was about meeting the generations that came before us.

They may be speaking a language I barely understand but love has a meaning that transcends passed any sound.

To laugh and smile with hugs and kisses, to share food from the soul to keep us going on any mission.

This trip has grounded more than my heart, its been the detox I've needed to head down a new path.

The pleasure has been mine to do all that I could, to help ease the pressure of those who have the honor of age to pass on knowledge they've learned.

A gift of life I can write about so easily but to actually live it can sometimes be beyond me, so I print these words to keep the feelings in my memory.

Truly blessed to be me surrounded by the most beautiful and amazing entities.
