That Creation.

Goldfinch60

There I was in bed,

Four o’clock in the morning

When the thought struck me.

I needed to do it,

It was so important,

Important to me and to others.

The thought just would not go,

As much as I tried to go back to sleep

I just couldn't.

So at five o’clock in the morning

I arose,

I arose to fulfil the task,

A task that had been bothering me.

So down the stairs I came,

Prepared everything,

And I started.

All was going well

And at last I had finished,

And there it sat before me,

The creation that had worried me,

The ice cream had been made!

Ice cream was created from a dream! Well I guess all inventions are in some way or other birthed in dreams. 🙂

Worth waking up for though Andy - finished ice cream takes no note of time.

So true Fay, time is no obstacle.

Had to get the ice cream van out by eight.
This week I’ve really had a lot on my plate -
The Greensleeves tape finally had enough,
The fridge broke down; the week had been quite tough.

But the ice cream was excellent, Andy – I HAD some in spirit. Thanks.
