A Certain Kind of Highness
When I am with you, looking down like this
across the tops of rows of forest trees ..
When I am with you looking down on rolling waves
and upwards, through the surf, toward the sky ..
Such things, must surely be a measure
of just how high you always make me feel ..

Ah - - another gem to lift readers hearts Nev. -- - From the title alone I could feel the closeness to someone well loved seeping out of metaphor. Such is what's offered in a truly classical romantic ode.
Bless you dear Fay .. I most surely owe ya one ................. N x
Some just lift your spirits and keep them lifted, even when you're down, and you don't think you deserve it.
Absolutely, spot on Paul 🙂
Yes, your Majesty - notice my bow to you there?! lol.
I thought you might at least have had the decency to swoon upon your return Mr. O 🙂
Poetic masterclass
You are far too generous by half my friend, but a huge THANKYOU is on its way to you .. Neville
Probably will swoon again soon! lol.
but not swoon enough sir .......................................... 🙂
Well done, Neville.
Captured beautifully, is that feeling when you cross the heliopause of home.
you can of course fry, boil or poach an egg in a pot or a pan .. but you can do it a darn sight quicker in a heliopause ......... cheers Jez 🙂
Wonderful words Neville.
Andy
Thank you, kind sir, .. Neville 🙂
Beautifully expressed dear friend, from the heart and soul. It makes me smile and reflect. Thank you! It's a fave.
Wow, and that from a guy who only very occasionally uses the w word .. Thank you so very much Bella 🙂
Dunno how I missed this before, Nev - mind if I keep and use at a timely moment in a relationship of mine?
Should ensure a beautiful moment or two, no risk.
Thanks
