As Jesus went, many people
Followed and thronged Him all
A woman with issue of blood
Got to Him as she could
She had her trouble for twelve years
No healing did appear
Though many physicians she saw
Spent all but changed no more
For she did touch Jesus' garment
And power from Him went
For she did say, If I touch may
Hem of His cloak this day
I shall be whole, and straight away
Answered as she did pray
Was her prayer, for fount of blood ceased
Healing in her released
Jesus said, Who has touched my clothes?
Power has gone I know
From me, and the woman fearing
Came and told of each thing
Jesus He did her comfort there
Said, Daughter, have no care
Your faith has made you whole, now go
In peace be whole, be so

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.6.8.6. 8.6.8.6. format. Prayers for healing and medicine can go together, I believe. Certain people healed after many years - here, 12 years - with just a 'touch'.
