    Captured the essence of parting when no residual contact remains, Rik. I did manage to regain contact after 35 years once, email correspondence only, but at least the questions you pose were answered.

      Good stuff Dave! I know how that goes as well. There are several once severed ties that have had some resurgence of contact on this end. Yet it isn't always that way for every situation. Good to hear that you had some 'closure' of sorts on that particular relationship. Cheers.
