Dig in

Aa Harvey

Dig in

Dig in deep, I stamp my feet;

You’re never passing me by.

Make a stand; I hate your plans,

To try to ruin my life.

Stand up tall; bring down your walls,

I have to fight for peace.

Hear my call; I hate your war,

On peoples dignity.

Your claims are false,

You raise my pulse,

With every lie you tell.

You versus us, you broke the trust,

You swore to protect our health.

You kill us all, with words that fall,

As soon as they are exposed.

You fight your war of words with the poor,

With broken promises, overload.

We cannot count the lives you took,

You failed to see, we read the books,

And so we know your version of truth.

Demons reside inside of you.

Whispers are heard from God knows what;

The Devil knows too, they share what they got,

And in the end we are all condemned,

Because we are ignorant of their plan’s for the end.
