Endorphins

jenny.g

These captivating chemicals

Sparking through my brain

Serving sweet lies

Remedying pain

Making me float

In a pool of bliss

But they’re untrue

And lies like this

Are easily trusted

When all is done and dusted

I’ll reflect

I’ll progress

I won’t be distressed

I’ll know these captivating chemicals

Sparking through my brain

Are serving sweet lies

And remedying pain

Stimulates do what they say on the bottle, street stimulates will get you high, low, and at some point you just won't know.

The natural ones are confusing enough for me 😂

Remedying pain , indeed. But you remind us not to live in a state of denial , truth will surface.
