Tune: Deus Tuorum Militum
('Awake, awake, fling off the night')
Philippians 1 v.3-6
************
Paul thanks God for Philippians
They be His true daughters and sons
Give thanks each time he remembers
Them, joyful memory concurs
Prays for the with joy, for the ybe
Christ-like examples, others see
Their witness, and fellowship they
Have had with Paul from the first day
First day they net, till present time
Through the ups and downs of life's rhyme
He confident that God would so
Work in them, they His graces know
Sure that God, He who had begun
A good work in them through His Son
Would bring it to completion, they
Stay firm unto Christ's return day

Lead me down to the honoured town of Philippi where Lydia by the river fed Paul's motley crew and opened her home whence the Holy Spirit blew.
Thanks CB. Seems like those lines could be turned into a song - or 'Chorus'. As long as a Chorus is not sung around a dreaded 5 million times repetitively! lol.
'Be turnéd into song' as a line of a hymn goes. Not the ..... éd accent there!
Wow yeah, just compose 7 or so stanzas more and there will be no repetition to be spoken of.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
God bless you Orchidee
Thanks Osei.
