Luke 12 v.22-31

Jesus said, Do not worry

For your life, but at peace be

Not anxious what you shall eat

For the life is more than meat* (*food)

Not troubled what you shall wear

Not consumed by daily care

For the body it sure be

More than clothing, here do see

 

Consider the birds, for they

Sow not nor reap in their day

They have neither barn, and nor

Do they have houses for store

God feeds them, and how much more

Are you better than birds sure

he for each will so provide

Daily bread He will not hide

 

And which of you worrying

Can grow taller in each thing?

Who can make their stature more

Than it was in time before?

Consider the flowers how

They do toil not nor spin now

Yet Solomon, His glory

Was not arrayed like one be

 

If then God so clothe the grass

Today here, then comes to pass

Tomorrow cast in oven

How much more will He clothe then

O you, you of little faith?

This His word, 'tis what He saith

That He will attend, meet needs

His creation He tends, feeds

 

Seek not what to et or drink

What to wear, not on these think

For the nations of the world

Seek these things to be unfurled

And your Father knows that you

Have need of these things, but view

And seek kingdom of God true

He shall provide here for you
