The Rant and Finding of Myself

Hollow Enigma

I remember when the old man said onto me
Son, you cannot be alive by not knowing what to be

You need to find sparks when they enter a room
electricity that holds a memory of their sweet perfume

Boy I want you to see your life for what you may build
And not opportunities lost and soul that is killed

You have to have fear but be brave
Need to fight but know when to save

Have trust and pride in your strength
but not lose to egos unwavering length

You will find love in the breaths that they take
helplessly bound by adventure for each other’s sake

I cannot show you the way through your winding road
for it would not be your truth nor a worthy load

Find your presence in someone’s wish
and take control of your own life bliss
