Thoughts In Life.

Goldfinch60

In our lives we have many thoughts.

If we look back we see the experience,

The experience that brought us,

Brought us to where we are today.

If we look forward we see hope,

Hope to where we want to be,

To be in our lives.

We then look around and see reality,

The reality that is in our life,

In our life today.

Finally we look within,

Within our minds and heart,

There we find ourselves

And are thankful,

Thankful for being who we are

Knowing that we are living,

Living in a world.

A world of experience,

A world of hope,

A world of reality.

Reality is a function of size,
    Also limitations of our senses;
But my perception should be no surprise -
Vision must be clear, free of pretences.

Abject apologies, Andy, you cornered me – right now my cognitive apparatus admits of not much hope...... Tho’ I’ll be gone…….. 😃

I can see what you mean Dave but as you know I am always an optimist so life will get better.

Times are tough just now and the world faces difficult times ahead. In years to come, these will be the memories imprinted on the young generation just now. They'll get through it, cos that's what humans do.

A positive view that lifts the spirit and gives hope in a world so full of things to bemoan. I liked the inner dimension, not only looking back forward and the present but inward.
