Natures Orchestra.

Goldfinch60

Walking through the wood,

The gentle sound of the breeze

Rustles the leaves,

The opening bars of the concert.

The staccato sound of beaks on trees

Drumming holes for homes,

Beating the time

As the pigeons coo in harmony.

The deep roar of deer

Singing the bass line,

Supporting the sound.

Above it all comes the duet

Of blackbird with robin,

Completing the sounds,

That make up

Natures Orchestra.

I could hear in my mind those wonderful sounds of Nature's own music after reading your verse - - thank you for sharing your walk dear Andy,.

Oh what a scene of sheer delight
A moment cherished for us all:
Holdfast this image, it is right
To hold it clear before the pall.

Enjoy for as long as you can Andy..... and maybe what is comming won't worry either of us.....🙂

Thank you Dave, I always enjoy walking with Nature.

Nature's Orchestra is in need of our entrance tickets - to be responsible in our cohabitation and symbiotic relationship with all of Creation!

          • Goldfinch60

So true Rik, I have had that entrance ticket since my birth.

            Andy

That's awesome Andy. There are those who have been known to throw their tickets away and have little or no regard for this orchestra.
