Expected End

Tune: Ratisbon

('Christ whose glory fills the skies')

Jeremiah 29 v.11-14

*********

For I know the thoughts that I

Think towards you, I am nigh

Says the Lord, thoughts of peace, not

Of evil, that not your lot

Shall give expected end

A future, hope, to you tend

Then you shall call upon me

And shall go, pray unto me

And I will hearken to you

And you will seek me, 'tis true

You shall find me when you shall

Search for me with whole heart well

And I will be found of you

I will turn, help you anew

Bring you from captivity

Restored to own land shall be

I the Lord these things shall do

Bring my comfort unto you
