Well, another great night of jazz
Bringing such joy to me.
The quintet were so good,
But when he came on the stage
I was blown away,
His voice so wonderful,
Singing those songs that meant so much,
So much to him,
And so much to me.
All evening he sang,
He told stories of his life,
Talked about the birth,
The birth of the songs,
The songs he sang.
And I was there,
There in another place,
Another place of his dreams
That had become mine,
Become mine in this evening,
This wonderful evening,
This wonderful evening of magic,
Of magic in my life.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Your life surrounded by music,
Does that insulate you from life?
World events and at home are sick -
Ignore many affairs so rife?
Only asking, Andy…..
It does take me out of the dreadfulness of this world at the moment but I don't ignore them and I live my life outside music as well but I always have music in my life to bring pleasure to me.
Andy
Definitely a better option than smack or alcohol, Andy. Hang in there...
Art, poems, and music all give meaning to life and translate life's meaning into their medium. I too love music of almost all types.
Thank you sorenbarrett, music can bring wonder to our lives,
Andy
So good, Gold.

I saw Tony Jacobs around 15 years back in Falmouth and so pleased to know he is still singing as well as ever. Thanks for sharing your evening with us dear Andy,.
My pleasure Fay, yes he is still singing well and gelling his stories.
