Primroses and Kites
Primroses and kites have so much in common these days
both being far more abundant than ever before
and not just confined to their old habitats, but everywhere ..
How I envy those banks on which they now play and grow

Thank you VB (utbyr) they are lovely to watch & to write about aren't they ...... Neville 🙂
Play-days are ever remembered when kites dance the blue in my daily wanderings Nev - - your write set me off looking back on those gone springtimes of picked bunches of yellowness too. Great that more folk now play and grow in those same places though eh ? ...................x
I remember when the first primroses each year always bloomed around the derelict cottage of the old witch Betsy Drury which was not far from my own grandmother's cottage in Gullworthy Devon, close to the Kernow border but this side of the Tamar .. I also remember when red kites were extinct in the UK .. I also once met one of the fella's responsible for their re-introduction back into England, he fixed a burst water main pipe for me .. x
Oh, those kites! My word what an awesome pairing the primroses and kites!

When I was a child March winds brought kite season, and the sky was full of them. I rarely see one these days, mores the pity. But I can enjoy the primroses, so all is not lost. So nice that we may all share these lovely, simple joys. Thank you dear friend.
I really do enjoy the fact you take the time to visit my scribbles Bella & so often .. so, thank you my dear friend .. Neville
Kites are wonderful birds to see, they appear over our croquet lawn very often.
