        Agreed, too many unthought suggestions by those that don't understand the situation. However, even with well thought out answers there come the problem of implementation.

          Thanks Soren. I can't provide a solution/advice for the whole world, but in the case of so-called western democracies, it is for the population and/or those in influence to hold their governments accountable. Successes scarce, many setbacks. Name names, eliminate 'we' from the dialogue, and above all eliminate hopes or prayers.

            Thanks H; and peace maintained can only be achieved if the lessons of long form history (I once used the term deep history, but many did not understand this) are carefully analysed and acted upon.
