Recharging.
Comes now the in-breath of winter,
the back-end of warmth, the yin
of declining year,
the nap of nature, the slumbering,
the slowing of wheels, the begin
of need for refreshing rest.
Comes now the feel for zest renewal
the quiet withdrawal, the root refuel
of idle's intention,
the course of recover, the reinstalling,
the yawn of dwindle, the receding
pause in which to reflect.
Comes now repose of rest to absorb.
Comes now the recharging of paucity.

I've recharged reading this fine write Fay.
Glad you feel charged up now after reading my little lines on nature's nap time - thanks Orchii
What summing up of the advent of Nature and its extravaganza in a lulling way . Great usage of metaphors Fay!
Am grateful you stopped by for a read Ninkasi and thank you muchly for your lovely comment.
Too good, Fay.
Just trying my take on nature's shut down when weather cools here - thank you for reading my few lines dear Soma
A fine read, Fay.
Muchly appreciated your visit and comment and thank you for dropping by Jerry.
Ah yes! Recharging is so much more vibrant than hibernating!
Too true Rik - and much we can learn from Nature's nap time and try to ease up like the plants do.
Ah, the plants! And shall I learn thusly the arts of easing up. My nan used to say, “edad y dignidad ;” with which I gleaned the concept of aging with grace and dignity. Not very successful but acquiring more time and opportunity to do so.
Yes we must all recharge in the glory of Autumn Fay.
Andy
Absolutely agree Andy - - we all need to learn from Nature's example at this time of year.
'the quiet withdrawal, the root refuel'

Thank you Violet.
Our unrelenting pursuit of happiness, unfortunately, doesn’t allow us the natural cycle to pause and reflect, otherwise we would take your verses to heart to refresh and recharge.
