In our life we make them,
We make mistakes
And they can be very painful,
Very painful at times.
But as we age we come to realise
Those mistakes become a collection,
A collection of experiences,
And that is when we realise
That those mistakes are lessons,
Lessons to get us into the life,
Into the good life we now have.

Good write Gol.
Is there any remedy for my mistake of 'I started to sing one day'? lol.
No, no remedy at all, just stop singing. LOL.
Andy
Do utilise those mistakes by all means
If you have the chance and it’s possible;
This doesn’t amount to a hill of beans
Where poverty makes it improbable.
Even in poverty people can still learn.
Andy
Lessons in life are aplenty, thanks for the reminder Andy!
My pleasure Rik.
Andy
looking back, we see a trail
a definitive path
yet looking ahead, we can't fathom
a route, towards progress
looking side to side, we assume
we've arrived...
(when we think we know
we begin to contemplate
how little we do)
thanks for sharing your encouraging words, dear Poet
I read and learn
True words Mek, keep going forward and all will be well.
Andy

Mistakes can become great lessons for us Andy - am listening so intensely now to a favourite voice as Frank sings the sadness of Autumn when love has been lost. Thanks for sharing the words and of course Sinatra too.
My absolute pleasure Fay.
