Such A Glorious Day.

Goldfinch60

There I was on the croquet lawn

In the middle of November,

The sun was shining,

The sky was blue.

I looked around and saw,

Saw the glory of Autumn,

The glory of Autumn surrounding me.

Such a beautiful day

And such fine weather.

For what more could I ask?

Playing the sport I love

With good friends,

And this wonderful weather

Bringing glory to me,

Glory to my body and heart.

Such a glorious day.

These type of autumn days mild and bright and sunny are the best ever. We walked halfway across the city green to discover tucked away places we hadn't before seen, glad yours was awesome as well.

Then I turned up with water, and ruined things when you were having a whisky together. lol.

No not this time, we have a warning siren if people come to us with water.

Now what is it with this game of croquet
Which keeps you very engaged for so long?
At no time, it seems, for you life is grey:
Your river, your music – there you belong.

I am a very lucky person Dave. I have had music all my life, My River for over twenty years, croquet for several years.
I now have a new love in my life after my wife for forty years was taken from me by that cursed dementia.
It is a great life for which I am most grateful.

Thanks, Andy. Long may it last. My very best wishes.
