Back Then.
Intoxicated with evocative love,
and heady elation
ecstasy truly captured our new
exhilaration back then.
Fermented in thrills we became
euphoria fuelled,
felt mercurial bliss and entered
desire's raptural level.
Enchanted halcyon time gained
volcanic abandon, now
mem'ry's unremitting wish is
to resurrect the fire again.
