Calliope looks down on me
As if to say what are you going to write,
Going to write today.
Will it be of the happiness in your life,
Your long life that has been full of glory.
Will it be of your walks with Nature
That you enjoy so much.
It may be of the music in your life,
That music that has been with you forever.
Of will it be of the love that you had,
And then lost after so many years together
When she passed into another world
To join me looking down on you.
It could be of the new love in your life,
That love that came so unexpectedly
And became so strong and wonderful.
But no I have written these words today
And they say so much about my life,
My fulfilling life,
Full of love and happiness.

A fine write Gold. Did we meet Cal, you and I, being very old?! lol.
Yes we met Cal but she went away when you started singing.
To live a life full and varied is quite a thing to achieve. Something that isn't being passed on to the next generations where we have made such great advances in curbing infant mortality rates.
So true but I passed it on to my children and they are passing it on to my grandchildren so once more I am so lucky.

Nice. Now that is a family!
Congratulations should be granted here;
Time to write your biography, old son -
Your life cannot but fill me with good cheer,
I’m sure enjoyed now by everyone.
Thank you Dave, so kind. I am just very fortunate in my life and look back upon it with such pleasure.
Andy

Dear friend, as I read I see that the threads of all you love have been woven into a magnificent tapestry of life that you treasure. I celebrate your joy. This is beautiful verse at its best.
So very kind Bella, I have been very lucky in my life and am most grateful for it.
