Well they were all out yesterday,
The drivers who can’t drive,
And the drivers who don’t care!
Up to the roundabout I came
On the inside lane,
Ready to go straight ahead,
A lorry pulls up beside me,
Signalling to go around the roundabout,
But no, he went straight on!
Then there was the Mercedes in the car park,
I was driving down the road,
The main road of the carpark,
He pulled out from the parking area
Not even looking up my way!
The final straw was the slow driver,
The one doing thirty five
On a sixty miles per hour road!
So many people behind him
And nowhere to overtake.
I was so glad to get home
And hope that today
The good drivers are on the road.

Yep, and they who go zooming over pedestrian crossings when we're about to cross, causing Fido to tell me to 'tune it down', in my unsaid response of ******** or similar!
We still gotta watch out too for those electric powered wheelchairs, and that's on the paths! They'll come at ya at 100mph. Which way to dive out of their way - left or right?
So true Orchi, the electric cars are as bad as you cannot hear them either.
Andy
Should they be on the road, and not paths. And the electric powered scooters too - whizz past you on the paths.
In letters 6 foot high (nearly!) it says 'NO CYCLING' at our local shopping precinct. Can't these cyclists read? Grrr!
There are days like that! It's like all hell broke loose. Some days are much better though.
They certainly are Rik, hopefully today will be a better day on the road.

Yeah Andy, I hope so to. Motoring is such fun. If only we all had a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang day every day!
I’d give it up if I were you -
Public Transport is all the go;
Employee drivers are the crew
Who will get you there free of woe.
That may be the way but I want to go in my time not the set times that public transport have.
Andy
i used to enjoy driving
It is not so much fun nowadays d a.

My friend you have no idea how much your rant is shared. People these days don't seem to be aware of what's going on around them, not good when you're behind the wheel. What's really annoying is when you pull up alongside and find they are staring at a cell phone. Safe travels!
Thank you Bella, that is so true.
