Sitting in the snow wondering about the love we had…
Dancing in the field in the summer heat
There was nothing I wanted more
Than looking into your eyes, hearing your voice
Saying we will always be this close.
But there are you now?
I know, I know, I know
better than anyone
You left me alone in the cold.
I just wish you wouldn`t have chosen her
And helped me to get through this cold.
never mind.
Seasons change and you feel more and more away.
Such a funny feeling:
All this time you held me awake
No wonder why I feel so worn out.
But this is the final dream of how we could be.
Last intrusive thought or maybe not.
Step away from you is all that I need to do
Then the time will be able to make its turn.
It`s spring already,
The snow is slowly fading
like memories of you and I.

It`s unexpectedly cold - you
Are trying once more to get back in time:
Back before when you had it all,
Before all the leaves started to fall.
But you left me and let me fall…
I know, I know, I know
The summer is close,
But it has to be mine,
not yours…
And now that summer is a step away,
And I can finally feel the warmth
You`re trying to pave your way in my life once again.
But you forgot to ask the architect - I don`t want you there.
No need to be hysteric - you made your choice in the fall.
Now it`s my time to choose
to heal & to be on my own.
I can feel how time taking its turn.
Seasons change and I feel more and more strong.
Such a funny feeling:
Sometimes I still hear echoes of what we were,
No wonder my heart broke.
But now It doesn`t even skip a beat
for what we were and who we became:
Two strangers who can`t share a single glance.

The seasons of love are so often like the seasons of nature, for we are natural beings. This is sadly, but beautifully told. Love, loss, recovery, empowerment, couldn't be better. A great write my friend!
