She ran as my eyes flowed with tears of glitter and soul, my words soon failed me with only enough energy to squeeze out a hello.
I've always played moments back through my head, wishing I'd showed more love or better at letting go of what I thought should be said
Now days I can record it in hopes to put my mind at rest, then rap it up with bow into the memory chest.
Knowing it's the only thing I'll be floating on when I take that last breath, sailing on from the poetic life I lead
