I've had so many formats
Cassette tapes, CDs and mp3s
Now mainly use Spotify for my music needs
Almost everything on it
But they still warrant
Criticism for not paying the artist right
Mos Def said they pay half a penny a stream
How completely obscene
Apple pay half a pence more
A full penny, wow!
How are so many great artists going poor?

Seem like a bit of a dick
Can't pay artists the correct money
Keeps stealing all the cream
But he wants to buy Arsenal football team
The rich, greedy and mean
All seem to go hand in hand
Things will change
If enough artists say no and demand
