I arose from my bed,
Pulled back the curtains
And saw the snow,
The pure whiteness
Covering my world.
A beautiful sight to see,
Unspoilt pure white,
Its beauty filling me with glory.
Yet again my world lifts me,
Lifts My Spirit in its wonder,
As once more Natures Realm
Brings joy to my body and mind.

Welcome X mas you make me jealous
we don't have snow in the tropics
Thank you TKKKK, I will put a follow up to this today.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
I hope you understand I am going slow.
Not interested in snow, you sound keen though;
No point in pushing a very long rhyme -
"I’m going outside and may be some time."
Captain Andy Oates, your sacrifice means a lot to me.....
I didn't go out, see my poem today, it is a follow up to this one.

I love, love, love snow, so thank you for this lovely poem. I must have been around 5 yrs old, and I can remember getting up one Christmas morn, rushing to the window, and seeing no snow. I was crushed. So far winter in my part of the world is not cooperating, so I will enjoy it through your words.. Great write Andy!
Thank you Bella, snow can be beautiful to look at.
