As I sat here reading poetry,
The music playing around me,
A piece of music played
And I had to stop reading.
This music took me away,
Away to a place of ecstasy,
Ecstasy and peacefulness.
It was a Dream of Love
Pulling me into its wonder.
My love for music
And my love for life
Was being fulfilled
As these notes on the piano
Came through my ears
Into my mind
And into my heart.
My day had started
And it had taken me ,
Taken me to that place,
Taken me to Liebestraum.
What a wonderful place
To start my day.

All I get is 'dreams' of love, never turned into reality. Fido won't let me have any love. Well, he lets me have love, but no ardour or excitement! lol.
The love of music has nothing X rated in it Orchi, Fido should know this.

I too love music that has the power to make or change a mood. Although we all have different tastes, it is hard to find someone that doesn't like some kind of music.
Very true soren. I have been listening to music for over seventy years and there are only two types of music: That which you like and that which you don't like.

I listened to this beautiful piece of music as I read, which made it even more delightful. You have excellent taste in music, and in words to describe the feeling that it evokes. It is a wonderful way to start the day, may all your days be filled with music.
