What Does Your Father Do
Neither the Butchers or the Bakers
were exactly candlestick makers ..
But the Smith’s, Parkers and Pettitt’s
were either Boat-builders, cooks, nurses
or medics, so what does your father do ..

My father was a radio boffin who owned a few shops but we never saw much of him - - my Mum worked with deciphering numbers and shone in her field of (pre-computer) Comptometer programming- - -never saw much of her either so brother and I were Grandma reared - -- - oooh hope I haven't gone way off your question - -- memories come flooding at this time of year ................x.

Good question, Nev. Ofttimes it more than determines your own path way in life (although there can be a refusal admit to that). And of course, there are exceptions.......
