Notice of absence from Neville
If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. What a Bloody Waste
I don’t care what you say
she said ..
Just leave me alone to get
high in my
own head, so he did, and she
promptly
threw herself from a bridge ..
The driver she
hit, died there at the scene ..
All the
newspaper headlines say he
died instantly ..
While she, on the other hand
sits peeling grapes
while writing her memoirs in
an NHS
hospital bed somewhere ..

The tragic irony of this poem, is that it highlights the absurdity of life. Here is a prime example, well written dear friend.
