It's for your own good

sorenbarrett

Some years ago I needed to know

What was the amount of my last deposit

So the bank I called and a voice drawled

Your account number please, do you have it?

No problem I said, and then it I read

Now some security questions to verify it is you

Password conferred, I thought the rest could be deferred

But not so, some mandatory questions did ensue

To avoid a con game we need your mother's maiden name

Once again I complied and gave it

One last question before, we can give you more

What was the amount of your last deposit?

It can be a right pain in the proverbial!
I once spent 20 minutes telling the bank staff that yes I did agree to a payment!

Thanks Andy, yes it is sometimes difficult to get the message through.

As I read, I commiserated with your situation, been there done that. But when I got to the last line I could only smile, then chuckle, and now I can't stop laughing. Good one my friend, just what I needed, thank you!

Thank you Bella glad you enjoyed it. I laugh at it now but didn't at the time
