I have had a fine life,
Grown up with fine parents
And a fun loving brother.
Learned so much at school,
And then worked all my life,
Never out of work.
Married for many years,
Had children.
Life was so good,
But now things are so strange
As it feels so weird,
So weird being this age,
Being the same age,
The same age as old people.

But we are very old, you and I. Millions of years old! lol.
So true Orchi.

Any anniversaries for us this year - years ending in ...'23 from the past? We could always look up Wikipedia to find out.
But happy and in love with a beautiful, caring woman.
Age is just a number my friend,we are only as old as we feel
So true Melissa, thank you for your kind words.
Andy
Unlike you my life has been far from a walk in the park. But at 70 still feel old.😉
Your life may not have been a walk in the park John but you got up this morning so all is well.
Andy
I share that weird feeling at times, hard to believe I'm in the 70th decade. Johnny Carson used to say middle age is 20 years older than you are, so with that philosophy I've got quite a ways to go. Good write Andy!
Thank you Bella, so my middle age is still to come, that is great to hear. LOL
