Notice of absence from Neville
If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. once driven
now
firmly stuck
though
much less like
snow
these days
and more like
some
old rusty nail
perhaps
dear lord
how quick I am

A slice of regret comes over from this sad reflection on life and cleverly drawn out in the final lines Reminds me of the old saying that "Rusting maybe but when once really loved never is one forgotten" ...... x

It's so sad but true the world moves on pretty fast and I'd have to agree with you, at least we get to make a mark on each day that comes through!
