Seen

Fay Slimm.

Seen.

Fragments of me

~ ~ ~ ~  will be muted

until what is seen

~ ~ ~ ~~  by my heart

is departure

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ from need.

Self is always

~ ~ ~ ~  wholly enough

Accepting this

~ ~ ~ ~   is to succeed

Dear Fay, you have succinctly and wonderfully captured the essence of self-awareness, packing into a neat little box with a golden bow. Thank you!

      • Fay Slimm.

Oh yes dear Bella - awareness of the true self opens doors to far more freedom than we imagine. - - so pleased you enjoyed the read my friend.

I like the visual structure of this poem,
how it relates to the words, "fragments," "seen," "departure," "wholly," and "acceptance." The text speaks to the idea of self-awareness , but the visual implies the difficulty involved. Life and love are never easy. - Phil A.

How grateful I am that you saw what I had hoped would clarify the piece a bit more Phil. - You are so right that life and love are never easy to fathom out ways to stay balanced.

Our hearts show who we really are Fay.
