Walking With Nature.

Goldfinch60

Going along the trails, through natures realm,

I wonder at the glory around me.

The wonder of nature abounds,

Each site leaves a picture in my mind.

Be it the greens and yellows of the fields,

The blues and browns

Of the river flowing through the forest,

Each picture framed in glory.

I look back and see my steps

As I walk my way along the track,

Those steps soon fading in time

As though I had never been this way.

Each flower, animal and tree so precious

As I delicately pass them,

And leave them unharmed,

Leaving nature as I found it.

Knowing that;

I have taken nothing but pictures.
Left nothing but footprints.
Killed nothing but time.

Yes, some things - many things? - are OK. Then man comes along and messes them up, even kills them.
They wish I would kill time by cutting my singing recitals short, but I never do! lol.

If I hear you sing I may cut something off Orchi. LOL

      Wonderful write Andy.
In the modern maelstrom we inhabit for balance, we all need to take that walk, and often.
