Oh those once experienced moments we thought would last forever and so clearly spelt out here that it took my mind way back to exchanges bathed with anticipation - -- once - -- great read and very relatable
Your sentences are always so beautifully put together. There is always that "once". No matter, there will aways be a "once" to tell about, some of them you hold closer than others, but they all make you you.
This poem is powerfully deep. It feels like a journey of a love tale through all the phases. "Curse or blessing" truly encapsulates the fearful unpredictability of relationships. Thank you for this poem dear poet.
What those "once" moments lead to is often not within our power to see. But hindsight will bring them into focus and perhaps see clearly why we took that road. Such a great write dear friend, each stanza ,a work of precision and beauty.

Thanks Ms Faye. Glad there's something in here that is relatable.
