It Depends

M.E.M.

As we know it
there are four seasons.
Winter
Spring
Summer
Fall

Some places have all four,
some two or three.
Rare places have one continuous season.

Well, where I'm from there are three
Or four.
It depends.

The leaves fall in Fall
Or winter.

What should be winter,
feels like spring
Spring is spring. The pollen collects
Luring the bees out.

Summer in Houston is practice for hell
Always hot, always humid.
Mother Nature does not hold back.

But her true beauty
Comes out in Fall.
When the leaves change color
The sky catches the light and
Bursts into life.
