Painting On Silence.

Goldfinch60

I walk around the gallery,

The artwork all around me

Bringing joy to my eyes,

So many canvases

Painted with love.

I walk from the gallery

Into the hall,

I hear the music

Bringing joy to my ears

From the silence

Upon which music is painted.

Great, Andy. Short but in your turn well painted - this time in words.
I too love art galleries, not only for the works but for the peaceful pleasant atmosphere they emanate.

Thank you Dave. I am a member of the Ashmolean Museum/Art Gallery in Oxford and I would be quite happy to live there, the art work and, as you say, the atmosphere is wonderful.

      A fine write Gold.
There's a coure on Art Appreciation if ya have a spare 35 hours! I'm skimming through it, mainly doing the quizzes. I should like to have the time for it, as they say. 35 hours that is.

Thank you Orchi. Art is what you see and appreciate, you have no need to go on a course to do this.
