Tune: St Peter

('How sweet the name of Jesus sounds')

Philippians 4 v.8-9

*********

Think on things that are true, honest

Noble, so you be blessed

And things that are just, pure, lovely

Whatever they may be

And things that be of good report

What causes pleasant thought

And if any virtue and praise

Consider them these days

Think on these things, and meditate

The things of the Lord great

Imitate good in believers

And be faithful givers

Those things that you have from them learned

And received, and discerned

And have heard and seen in them, do

So Christ displayed through you

And minds renewed daily, and clear

Sound, sane, and staid shall be

Christ-like minds with His peace assured

He our Saviour and Lord
