Some see a fight between light and night
I see a dance
The more bright the sight, the darker the shadow of plight
The pendulum does advance
The melody's not wrong, all belong, it's the timing of your song
Listen to its beat then prance
In the throng, be strong, as you go along
Be in balance not askance
If skeptical, inflexible or too conventional
Your feet won't stand a chance
Let your response be intestinal, not just intellectual
Multidimensional is the dance

I love the wonderful rhyming scheme of this poem as I read it aloud, its message so deeply felt. You so beautifully describe the equilibrium of life that we should strive for. This is such a fav!
Thank you so much Bella for your read and such generous comments.
Dear Bella please write some more I deeply miss your poems and think I have already reviewed all that you have written.
Thank you so much for your encouragement dear friend, you are always so kind. There's been a lot going on lately, and it's been difficult to find the right frame of mind. I'm so glad to keep up with everyone, and I do have something I'm trying to get out of my head and onto the website. Maybe this is the impetus to do it, thank you!
Your key word there, for me, is 'balance' with respect to the 'intestinal' and 'intellectual'. Can't fault that, Soren - thanks for laying it out so clearly.
Thanks Dave for the read and comment/ Your right balance is the key in life or a dance.
That balance in life is so important in us, may we all have it.
Andy
