In life we meet many people,
Some just in passing,
Some become friends
And we meet with them often,
Then suddenly they may go away,
Go away in our troubled times.
But then there are those that stay,
Stay with us in those troubled times.
These are true friends,
These are the ones we won’t forget
As they are the ones who were there,
Were there for us,
There for us in troubled times
And are worth their weight in gold.

Thanks for this needed reminder dear Andy - --You describe true friends well in this tribute to those who stay with each other whatever challenges appear.

so very true, Andy
'nothing more rare in life
than someone you can call, a friend
who chooses to reciprocate
entrusting themselves to you, as you
entrust yourself to them'
Thank you Mek, much appreciated.
