I have lived a long life,
It has had its ups and downs.
It may not be perfect,
It has sometimes caused me frowns.
But I am so thankful
For the many things I’ve found
Along the road I’ve trod,
So to my future I’m bound.
My life may not be perfect,
But for that life I’m grateful
For all the things I have,
All the things I have in my life.

An optimistic poem that is positive,
Peace to the mind, it does give,
The poet is satisfied with his life,
This mental satisfaction is a must.
Thank you mv, yes I am happy with my life and have been all the way through it.

Very glad to hear that a person is happy with his life in the modern days of temptation and vacillation!
All the best!
Thank you
Good write Gold.

Thank you Neville, Hank was certainly the best. The very first album that I bought was the groups first album, 'The Shadows' back in 1961 and I still have that album, I also have their second album "Out of the Shadows" released in 1962. Great group.
