Cloudy Coffee Day.

Goldfinch60

I don’t know!!

I came in for coffee

On this dull grey day,

Came into my favourite coffee bar,

I’ve been coming here for years.

I order my coffee,

As I wait for it I get accused,

Accused of removing the light,

Taking the sunshine away,

Taking it away from her world,

From the world of the Barista.

I don’t know!!

At first read this one was puzzling, however, on second read it was puzzling too. Then I found myself smiling and chuckling, still puzzled though. Anytime someone can make me laugh without me knowing why it's a stroke of genius.

If I have made you laugh then I have done my job, laughter is a wonderful medicine.

Got me there, Andy. I tend to be with Soren (above) on this one.

Banter with a deep vein of irony?

          • Goldfinch60

Banter with others shows a very meaningful relationship Dave. I have been going to that coffee bar longer than the current members of staff and they all know me very well as I go there so regularly.

your answer should have at least been headed with an affirmation, Andy. Your responses need a little more thought - they tend to be slightly formulaic.
I enjoy your stuff at the beginning and wonder how you do it every day.

Ok, must be a little slow or maybe something unique to your side of the pond.
Ever wonder what the world woke up to before coffee?

It is just a good relationship between me as a long term customer and knowing the staff.

I tend to wake up to tea but coffee soon come along John.
