In our lives we are told many things,
Many things that society say we should do.
We should be counting money,
Looking for more,
Counting pounds and weight,
Looking for less,
Counting our steps,
To get us fitter.
But in my life I am becoming a rebel,
As rather than counting all those things
I count my blessings instead,
And I have so many blessings in my life
That I have no time to count other things.

Not rebellion, Andy - just means you have enough dosh not to worry.
That may be the case Dave but I have worked hard all my life to earn that pension that I receive. As I say I am a very lucky person.

Good write Gold.
Thank you Orchi.
I agree with you wholly. Always count your blessings first! Society can count the rest....Christina
Very true Christina, thank you.

The golden moments of life that you count are the greatest treasure dear friend. This is so beautifully written!
Love the joyful music, good choice.
Thank you Bella, yes those golden moments are so special.
