AT OUR AGE!!

What is it we have got,

Two old fogies in love,

A love that is so strong,

So strong it is hard to be apart,

Hard to be apart from each other.

Every time we are apart,

Even for a couple of hours,

We each miss each other.

Where has this love come from?

We just do not understand,

Two old fogies in love

And with some of the things we do,

The things we do so often,

The thought comes to us,

“AT OUR AGE!”

        "We just do not understand," - That line, please eliminate. It occurs far too often in your poetry about your current relationship.
        What to understand? you both are in love, feel yourself lucky and get on with it .

                    Hi, I think it's great to be loved no matter the age. I stopped ones from loving me at an early age (40's) because I have RA and knew I'd be limited.
