Justice And Judgement

orchidee

Tune: St Hilda

('O happy band of pilgrims')

Psalm 9 v.7-11

*******

The Lord shall endure ever

His years they end never

He has His throne prepared for

His righteous judgement sure

He shall judge in righteousness

And deal in uprightness

He will be a refuge for

The oppressed, needy, poor

They that know His name, they will

Put their trust in Him still

For the Lord has not forsook

But us to Him has took

He will not leave those who seek

Him, humble, loving, meek

Sing praises to the Lord, He

Dwells in Zion, so be

Zion, where His temple be

Upon that mount, here see

Declare midst people His deeds

He who unto us heeds

I'm beginning to believe you are older than that Lord... Do you pay rent or a tithe? And wot about that hound? Generally dogs have shorter lives than humans.... when is Fido's time up? I can't wait..... (manic chuckle).

'Thanks' is an insufficient response, orchi: are you not going to release me from the well of ignorance down which I currently dwell?
