He lays
in bed
Men
He searches in search bar
Strong
Fierce
Determined
words that he is
Not
Words that weight him down.
Weak
Fragile
Child
Him
Men can't cry
plastered on every wall he sees
words that taunt him
What will people say
if they listen through the walls?
Listen,
to his heart
pounding uncontrollably,
his hands ripping every hair,
his voices in his head,
the sobbing on the bathroom floor
and finally
the silence
when he has given up.
in bed
Men
He searches in search bar
Strong
Fierce
Determined
words that he is
Not
Words that weight him down.
Weak
Fragile
Child
Him
Men can't cry
plastered on every wall he sees
words that taunt him
What will people say
if they listen through the walls?
Listen,
to his heart
pounding uncontrollably,
his hands ripping every hair,
his voices in his head,
the sobbing on the bathroom floor
and finally
the silence
when he has given up.

- Comment from author about the poem: Im reading its kind of a funny story and it really shows me depression from a boys kind of view and they have this sterotype of they cant cry or be depressed so i kinda wanted to write abt a boy that does cry and isnt has strong mentally as others want him to be.
