Is an alarming Rhyme
Tick tock! Tick Tock!
Goes the chiming clock
A pinch of sunshine
Will make the day mine
Immersed in birdsong
I shall trudge along
With nature's tellers of time

A great thought with clever use of images and a different way to look at time. Well different no, only for modern times. Nature is the clock we ignore. Loved the peom and the image.

Songbirds are nature's time-keepers, but are of course not a clock. Not mechanical and exacting. But incredibly honest, they never manipulate time like our bosses and doctors and grocery stores and TV channels. They adjust, go with the flow, but are always true. Ask Romeo and Juliet. If it's the lark, time to split!
